iConnect specialises in mens mental health support and offers facilitated group sessions in physical locations around New Zealand and online access to trained, experienced facilitators and therapists to follow up with 1 on 1 sessions.
We desire to normalise courageous conversations and to shift culture around men speaking up via meaningful partnerships with male dominated work-places. Good mental health is wealth, as it affects every area of your life.
Men traditionally find it difficult to talk about their mental health and adequate support can often be inaccessible or unaffordable. Working with male dominated industries to normalise hard conversations and provide easy access, ultimately supports not only the men but their whānau, friends and community.
Group and individual sessions are fully funded through a respective work place, so there is no direct cost to an individual. Employers sign up to iConnect by purchasing an annual package which entitles them to a facilitated group therapy session hosted by Matt and Phil monthly at their work-site followed by access for employees to one-on-one sessions with experienced therapists online.
Individual sessions are booked and hosted online, so can occur anywhere that is comfortable for the individual. Often men prefer to drive somewhere after work and sit in the privacy of their car to meet with their therapist.
Our therapists are experienced in speaking with everyday men and providing the right emotional support with practical insight and tools in a language that resonates.
